php memory limit increase directadmin

Increasing php memory limit in Directadmin

If php handler is mod_php please follow below steps

1.Login to directadmin user control panel

2.Go to public_html folder of domain

3.find .htaccess file if not found create it

4.Edit the .htaccess file

5.Add the following code

php_value memory_limit 1024M

at the place of 1024 add your desire memory size you want to increase

If php handler is php-fpm please follow below steps

1.Login to directadmin user control panel

2.Go to public_html folder

3.Create .user.ini file

4.Add following code

memory_limit = 1024M

At place of 1024 use your desire value

Note:- Please please wait 2-3 minute when you modify the value in .user.ini file to take change effect.

If you are running directadmin on cloudlinux

please goto Extra Features->select php version

please click to “switch to php version”

Go to memory limit and select the desire value
